I shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable and unsure about how clean and safe my room is. Especially after the pandemic, one would think that being clean would be a top priority. I thought I was going to be staying at a place where cleanliness was top priority. Where every detail was paid attention to.

Ocean Resort really had the audacity to take my money and then put me in someone else’s filth! I thought I was staying at at a nice hotel.

So I became immediately grossed out and went down to the front desk. I started cleaning the dust myself with my own cleaning products until I noticed all the other things wrong which lead me to believe no one had cleaned or even touched the room since the last guest left. There was a dark and weird stain on the carpet. There was no comforter or top sheet on the bed at all!! The comforter & top sheet weren’t even in the room at all!! Someone left their bottle of vodka in the fridge. It looked like the previous guest who stayed there put the bottom sheet on because it was so sloppy. I was checked into a room that had not been cleaned at all! There was a thick layer of dust everywhere! The bed was not properly made.
